NATURE EXHIBITION - MOSKENESØYA,
LOFOTEN
Reine culture and Nature Centre has the pleasure of
presenting an exhibition about the island of Moskenesøya and its
fantastic natural surroundings. The exhibition is divided into the
following sections:
- Moskenesøy - Norway's strangest?
(Geology)
- Natural diversity through millions of years (Geology, time spiral,
aerial photos, and more)
- Types of nandscapes, types of countryside, possible national park
- The flora of Moskenesøya
- Plants from Lofoten used as food and medicine
- Bird life on the island of Moskenesøya
- Animal life on the island of Moskenesøya
The exhibition consists of large posters with text, graphics, photos
and aerial photos, a rock collection, stuffed asnimals and birds, a
continuous slideshow and a reading corner with literature in
particular about the prospective national park.
